Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Texas Preps Portal you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18 a parent or guardian must consent via DocuSeal before you can use account features.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of photos, videos, and articles you upload. By uploading you grant Texas Preps Portal a non-exclusive license to host, serve, and display the content for the purpose of operating the service, at the visibility level you set (private, school, or public).

3. Acceptable use

No harassment, doxxing, hate speech, sexually explicit content, or anything illegal. No scraping or automated mass downloading of content you do not own. No attempting to bypass storage quotas or paywalls.

4. Paid plans

Paid tiers (Pro, Team, Enterprise) are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are at our discretion.

5. Storage & media

We store your uploaded media as uncompressed originals in Cloudflare R2. Free-tier schools get 2 GB; paid tiers get substantially more. We do not transcode your files on upload; playback is performed by your browser.

6. Termination

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. On deletion we remove your PII within 30 days and your content immediately, subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Texas Preps Portal is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced via email and in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect.
